Adult Sunday Schools

Adult Bible studies are geared toward meeting the needs of the students. Bible studies begin at 10:00 am every Sunday.

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” ~ Matt. 18:20

Children’s Ministry

Children have many ways to participate at Lakewood. Ministries include Sunday School, Jr. Church, and Kids Choir. These activities are designed to help kids learn God’s Word in an engaging manner.

We also have a nursery for infants and toddlers.

“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” ~ Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Teen Ministry

The teens at Lakewood are challenged to live their lives for Jesus Christ through Sunday School, Youth Conferences, summer camps, and monthly activities.

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” ~ I Timothy 4:12

Canvassing Ministry

Every Saturday at Lakewood, we go out into our community to try to reach others for Christ. We believe this what our Lord commanded us to do before ascending to Heaven.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” ~ Matthew 28:19-20

Van Ministry

Our church provides a ride for whoever needs one. If you would like to visit us but need trasportation, please contact us.

“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” ~ Luke 14:23

Music Ministry

We believe that good, Godly, old-fashioned, soul-stirring music is essential to our worship service. Members can be involved in our adult choir & our children’s choir.

“And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.” ~ Psalms 40:3
